Hiya

Stacey
Hi

Rachael
Come in then we've got loads to do.

Both girls start doing work.

Stacey
Okie doke. How are you?

Rachael
I'm great thanks. What about you?

Stacey
I'm good, yeah.

Rachael
What's up?

Stacey
Nothing, I just freaked myself out a bit walking down here. I was convinced someone was following me.

Rachael
You were probably just imagining it. You know what you're like.

Stacey
Well yeah. What do we have to do then?

Rachael
Loads. We have two english essays to write.

Stacey
And two Biology practice papers to do.

Rachael
The joys of college.

Both girls laugh then start working.

James walks in and scares the girls.

Rachael
(joking) Oh my god, what did you do that for?!

James
To see your faces when i scared you senseless.
Stacey
Well it wasn't funny! I'm already freaked out. Was it you that was following me outside?

James
No, I've only just got here. (Worried) Has something happened?

Stacey
No, I just felt like someone was following me when I was coming down here.

James
(Slightly forced) Well are you ok?

Rachael
She's just feeling like a wimp now

Stacey
Oh thanks!

(laugh)

James
Well what are you doing then?

Rachael
Essays, homework. Thought it best to do it all at college. It's too noisy at home.

Stacey
Then she dragged me here too so she wouldn't be on her own.

Rachael
Yeah, but you love me so.....

Stacey
Well yeah

(Bang!)

Rachael & Stacey scream. James jumps.

Stacey
What the HELL was that?!

James
I don't know, might have been one of the cleaners or something. I'll see if i can find out what happened.

Rachael
Ok, just be careful ok?

James
(Rolls eyes) I will. (leaves room)

Stacey
Oh god oh god oh god

Rachael
It's ok. like James said, it'll just be a cleaner.

Stacey agrees and hey start back on with their work.
Vash appears in the background holding a wire.

Vash
Yeah, it's just a cleaner.

Vash hooks the wire around Rachael's neck. Stacey stands up and pushes hiom out of the way. Rachael stands up, runs across the room and tries to get out. Stacey looks at Vash who then grabs her and throws her into some banisters on the stairs. Vash looms over Stacey, James runs down the stairs and jumps on Vash's back.
James
(Mutters in Vash's ear) Not yet!

James punches Vash who runs off.

Film Certification by James and Stacey

Our film will be an 18 certificate. It will be an 18 because the weapon that we first use is easy to get hold of. Throughout the film there will be lots of bloody violence, bad language and some references, when the characters are insane, to suicide.

The Horror Genre by James and Stacey

  • Intended to scare its viewers.
  • Early horror films were largely based on books such as Frankenstein and Dracula
  • More recent horror films are based around the insecurities of life.
  • Horror films tend to enjoy cult followings rather than massive mainstream success.
  • They are often dismissed as B-movies rather than blockbuster films.
